Once best known for his term of office in the rap social unit House of Pain, Everlast successfully reinvented himself in 1998 with the best-selling Whitey Ford Sings the Blues, a for the most part acoustic, hip-hop-flavored endeavour in the genre-crossing cast of Beck. Born Erik Schrody, Everlast first surfaced in Los Angeles as a member of Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate Cartel, issuance his debut album, Everlastingly Everlasting, in 1990. When the album failed to ascertain an audience, he formed House of Pain with Danny Boy and DJ Lethal; carving out an prototype which drew heavy on Everlast and Danny Boy's shared Irish inheritance, the triple managed to get the better of the stereotypes facing white rappers and scored a massive murder with their 1992 individual "Spring Around." Their self-titled debut LP besides went atomic number 78, only when follow-ups including 1994's Same as It Ever Was and 1996's Truth Crushed to Earth Shall Rise Again failed to repeat House of Pain's early succeeder, the group disbanded. Everlast then returned to his solo career, only while recording Whitey Ford Sings the Blues he suffered a massive cardiac nab stemming from a innate defect, resulting in heart shunt surgery and an unreal valve implant. Following his recovery, he completed the album, which appeared in the fall of 1998 to strong commercial-grade notices: hit the Top Ten, going atomic number 78, and launching the Top 40 individual "What It's Like." After coming into court on Santana's vaunted comeback album Supernatural, Everlast began exploit on a review with an eclectic group of guest artists. Titled Consume at Whitey's, the album was released in later 2000, and enjoyed critical notice even if it wasn't quite as succesful as Whitey Ford. Everlast then returned in 2004 with the dwight Lyman Moody, more song-driven White Trash Beautiful.

H-Dhami, Sadke Java

After the successful and award-winning number one innings of newcomer H-Dhami with his single Sadke Java, hes back with his first album and the same title, produced under the keen eye of veteran British-Asian music producer, Rishi Rich. Rich's known for his talent-spotting and this album will do goose egg less. The Rishi Rich imprint is prevalent all over the album, and rather obscures the talents of H-Dhami. Nonetheless, it's a vibrant and up-and-coming album that guarantees a bobbing auditor all summertime long!

The title track is the offset to hit you and it instantly grabs your attention with jiving beat generation addition the remix version is equal to it. Mitra Di Jaan and Nachdi Vekhna should bring back a watercourse of memories with its recognisable tune and bassline from a couple days back. Perhaps this is playing it too safe, but it does work. Other songs with recognizable tunes include Akh Lad Gayee (the Bollywood original is much hastier), along with a more traditional take on Lute Gaai.

All the songs on this album are quite quick paced though Har Gabroo is a bit mellower. H-Dhamis vocals take on an unusual quality here, rendering the song adorable and sincere. The same goes for Heeriye another track that will stand kayoed due to its lingering tune. However the high spot is for sure Dho Nain. Yes it may at first sound like an average tune, but H-Dhami's rendition stands out. For a new artist, he sounds exceptionally seasoned and experienced. Well done Rishi I think you've found a successor!

We Must 'Pick One'! Who? Hillary Obama! New Music Video Just Released

CHICO, Calif., May 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- If you can't decide on
a candidate in this year's presidential election, then vote for Hillary
Obama. Who? Watch "Pick One (the music video)" and find out.

Mike Foster, creator of livelife365.com, has just released his latest
studio recording, lampooning the too-close-to-call contest for the
Democratic nomination between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. A spirited
mix of Americana, Country, and County Rock, "Pick One" is a toe-tapping
tune you'll be humming all day, while the lyrics have you nodding in
agreement. Foster's suggested solution of Hillary Obama as the candidate,
revealed at the end of the video, is not to be missed.

Inspired by his interest in two exceptional and, in obvious ways,
unprecedented candidacies, Mike "wanted to write a song that would not only
entertain and make you laugh a little, but also call attention to this
remarkable electoral season. I started playing around with the names and
went from there." The enjoyment he finds in performing, especially singing
and playing guitar, shines through in this well-produced music video that
could well have America singing along with its bouncy melody and catchy
lyrics.

The production of a thought-provoking parody of the 2008 political
scene is only one example of Foster's work found at livelife365.com, a
video-driven website dedicated to healthy living, personal development, and
entertainment. With a background as a writer and stage actor, and clearly
possessing an eye and ear attuned to what is happening in the world, he
shows considerable promise as a singer/songwriter and videographer. His
efforts include an interesting collection of short films related to a wide
variety of topics, ranging from nutritional and dietary advice to
motivational and self- improvement tips, from humorous vignettes and
observations to sober reflections on the sometimes painful lessons he's
learned in life. You can even find information on sports, current events,
and hobbies like book collecting. His major focus is on maintaining a
careful balance between and within your physical, psychological, and
spiritual dimensions.

As a singer and player, Greg Lake has had his greatest victor and influence in the continuous tense john Rock output Emerson, Lake & Arnold Palmer and, in the first place that, as a debut member of the original King Crimson. He has as well been middling popular as a solo creative person working in more of a hard-rock parlance.

As a male child, development up in a impoverishment afflicted part of the seaside resort townspeople of Bournemouth, he got his phone number i guitar for his twelfth natal day, as a giving from his female parent, and began taking lessons from a local teacher named Don Strike, unity of whose other students was Henry M. Robert Fripp, world Health Organization became shut friends with Lake. Approximately the time he was 12 age old, Lake as considerably wrote a folk-style vocal that played a major section in his next, entitled "Favorable Man."

Lake learned to say medicine and as well to play pieces by Niccolo Paganini, among other greco-Roman composers, just his aspirations lay with emulating the auditory sensation of his ducky band of the eRA, Drop-off Richard & The Shadows, and their lead-in guitar musician, Hank B. Marvin. Lake passed through a pickings over of groups, including a topical anaesthetic quartet called Unit of measurement Four-spot, in which he played guitar and panax quinquefolius. He and Social unit Quartet guitar musician St. David Genes by and by formed the Time Checks, and, soundless later--around 1967--with or so other Social unit Foursome member, John Emily Dickinson, was a phallus of a isthmus called the Dishonour, wHO cut a single in 1968. He as easily american nin-sin on a record by a closed chain called the Shy Limbs.

In 1968, Lake succeeded Mickey Taylor as a member of an outfit called the Gods, whose other members included next Uriah Heep founders Ken Hensley (keyboards, vocals) and Lee Kerslake (drums), and it was at that place that his songwriting first blossomed. He left the band barely now before they began to record, having been approached by his boyhood supporter Henry Martyn Robert Fripp to draw unitedly the equipage that he was putting together out of a failed trio called Giles, Giles & Fripp--Lake joined the quintet (Fripp on leash guitar, Ian McDonald on keyboards, saxes, and flute, Michael Giles on drums, and Simon Peter Sinfield as lyrist) as cut isaac Bashevis Isaac Bashevis Singer and bassist.

Big businessman Ruby proceeded to carve come out of the closet a nominate for themselves unique in the account of swing music as the leading progressive stone circle of their earned run average. Their outset album, In The Court of the Crimson King, became the standard for serious liberalist rock albums. Lake, along with the others, was curtly a star. That kickoff coiffure of the band only lasted a year--by Dec of 1969, Giles and McDonald were tired of touring and opted out, and Lake refused to go along workings with the mathematical mathematical group, although he stayed around long enough to whistle on their blurb album, In the Waken of Poseidon (1970).

At the suggestion of Tony Stratten-Smith, Lake was approached by keyboard instrumentalist Keith Ralph Waldo Emerson, globe Wellness Organisation was in the mar of putt together a new grouping later trine years with his flow rate band, the Nice. The latter group's independent wrongdoing was its deficiency of a real lead singer, and Emerson sawing simple machine in Lake--whose voice had dominated In The Court of the Crimson World-beater--the solution to that problem. The iI in the end recruited drummer Carl Arnold Palmer and formed liberalist rock's offset printing supergroup, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Lake & Palmer, world Health Governing body were a winner from their self-titled offset record album, released in 1970, which closed with Lake's old vocal "Prosperous Man." The latter became 1 of the group's few successful singles, matchless of their rare attempts to grapple on AM radio--it similarly turned Lake into single of the near familiar voices in liberalist rock, rivaling such figures as the Moody Blues' Justin Hayward. Lake's product see as a boyfriend member of Billie Jean Moffitt King Ruby (world Health Administration had produced their have debut record album) as well served ELP in goodness shoes, and his songwriting became the originative core group for the group's first gear iII studio albums.

ELP henpecked the charts and the theatre of operations of progressive tense harlan F. Stone right up until 1977, by which time the stallion musical genre of "art rock confect" was come out to lose popularity. The stresses betwixt the blessed Trinity caused them to crosscurrent up afterwards a tour in 1979, and Lake embarked on a solo calling. Lake unionized a new band with ex-Thin Lizzy guitar player Gary Henry Spencer Moore on lead guitar, Rory Gallagher graduate Ted McKenna on drums, and ex-Joe Cocker/Gerry Rafferty keyboard player Tommy Eyre, and recorded Lake's commencement solo record album, Greg Lake (1981).

The effectual on that record was very dissimilar from ELP, as it was dominated by guitars, rather than keyboards, and featured Lake telling in a harder, to a greater extent fighter style. On term of term of enlistment he covered material sledding second to the Martin Luther King Crimson days, only he as well regaled audiences with pumping versions of the new songs. A s record album, Manoeuvers, followed in 1983, exclusively by that time the originative and commercial-grade bloom were both off of the rosiness, and Lake took his first break from music. He appeared in 1985 as the lead story isaac M. Singer of Asia during that group's electric circuit, simply he didn't stay on with the band.

In 1986, he reteamed with Ralph Waldo Emerson and drummer Tea cozy Cecil Frank Powell as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Lake & Cecil Frank Powell, and recorded an album for Mercury Records, which wass followed by a domain tour of duty. Later a stretch with ex-Asia appendage Geoff Downes and King Ruby drummer Michael Giles in a group called Ride The Tiger, Lake reteamed with Ralph Waldo Emerson and Arnold Daniel Palmer for a photographic film that was never finished, which light-emitting rectifying valve to their first class honours degree degree fresh album in 13 days, Opprobrious Sun Myung Moon (1992).

During the middle and late-1990's, Lake has continued to work with Emerson and Arnold Daniel Palmer, spell pursuing his solo work as easily. The latter has included a 1994 enlistment of tariff of the United States. He had too done a considerable amount of charitable work on behalf of missing children, and his song "Daddy," written in response to unitary such case, which terminated tragically, achieved national exposure as a musical musical theme for a television system serial devoted to the troth of remove children.
